| Well, fair is basically over. We had Captain Jack and 'Chaco-Chip (my
lovely mini-rex bunnies!) there all week. They both got blue ribbons! I
expected Cpt Jack to get blue, but I didn't think 'Chaco would get any
more than a red.
Monica has been basically taking care of the rabbits all year, since I
have been so busy with work and school and college stuff. She really
loved the fair and is excited about showing rabbits next year. She
(with a little help from Sis, who can't resist a mini-rex baby!) bought
a red doe. We've named her Ginger and call her Ginny for short. She is SUCH a little CUTIE!
We are leaving all the buns alone for now so they can de-stress a bit,
but this evening I'm sure there will be a lot of bunny snuggling going
on!

| Well, I was taking a quiz to
see what Harry Potter charecter I am. It said I am Ginny Weasly, and I
was very pleased, until I read the description. It made poor Ginny
sound like a starry-eyed dweebette! So, I tweaked the description of
Ginny to make it fit her a bit better:
"You are a friendly and loving person - but you know the bat-bogy
hex, and aren't afraid to use it! You tend to be shy at times, but
your friends know you as 'the loud one.' You are the embodiment of
innocence. (We'll see how long that lasts!)"

| Dad and I went to Bloomington for orientation this week. Overall it was
a very enjoyable, though I finished feeling completely pooped. After
only two nights sleeping in a dorm with a room mate I am VERY VERY VERY
VERY VERY thankful that I will have my own room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow.
I probably spent a total of 15 awake minutes with the girl and, yeah,
let's just say I don't think we will be spending much... any... time
together in the fall. I hope she does well at college, but judging from
this encounter I will be surprised if she is able to show up for
classes. . .
The earwigs in the shower and dorky movie about the many marvles of a
sudent ID card aside, I think that it was a good experience and I am
starting to get very excited about starting. I'm searching for cheap
used textbooks, I got some AWESOME bargains on dorm stuff this
afternoon and I just found out that I will have to pay about $5000 less
than I had anticipated for tuition etc.
I am ALSO getting very excited about the conference!!! <BOUNCE> I
am trying to focus on the wonderful time I am going to have in St.
Louis instead of the fact that I won't get to even SEE the new Harry
Potter book until we get home. <pout> Dad pre-ordered it on
Amazon MONTHS ago and I assumed we would get it before we leave, but it
won't get here until the 19th! <WAIL>
Well, I'm going to skip off to ebay to snag some bargains on textbooks. . .

| WOW! Time is going by so FAST! I cant beleive it is MAY alreday, and almost the middle of the month at that!
Ok, so I'm not actually washing M*A*S*H at the moment... Mom and I have
been working our way through the seasons for several years now. Before
I went to GA Pook was watching with us but I'm not sure what happened
after that. He claims that he watched them all with Mom, but she
doesn't remember that. <shrug> Anyway, we are working on season
five now. I do have to say that I liked the earlier episodes MUCH
better. They were more light harted and funny, now they are getting
gloomy. Still good though. . .
Life has gotten much easier lately. I finished Physics, Math and
Economis so school basically consists of reading War and Peace.
I'm still enjoying work very much. After Naomi's wedding I'm going to
start working more hours, probably full time. That will basically take
away all of my free time, but it will mean a LOT more money in the bank
at the end of the summer.
I'm rather ammused by the banner ad at the top of the screen. "Spank
the Streaker! And get a FREE 40 gig ipod!" Tankfully the dorky red-head
dude running back and forth (I suppose he is "The streaker") isn't
really streaking.
If it is still in the theaters around any of y'all - go see the movie "Dear Frankie." It is REALLY good!!!
Frederick is such a cutie. He is getting bigger every day. Mom thinks
is he is probably 20 pounds already. He is such a HAPPY baby - laughing
and smiling. <hehe> ANd ooooh my goodness, such a FLIRT! When my
little siblings get older the world better look out. There are going to
be some terribly good-looking and talented flirters out there.
The weather is finally getting decent. High of 60 today! Granted, that
is rather chilly in contrast to the mid-80's and sunshine we had a few
days ago, but 60 and rainy is what I expect of spring. I am VERY much
looking forward to the END of spring! They are predicting a nice, HOT
and somewhat rainy summer because of the dry spring. <GRIN> I
simply ADORE those wuuuuuunderfully hot days when there is a sudden
downpour.Splashing around in puddles outside, getting soaked to the
bone... bring it on!
Only 65 days until Harry Potter and the Halfblood Prince!! On Tuesday
we stopped at Borders breifly and I saw a picture of the cover.
<oooh> I am VERY dissapointed that it isn't comming out until
RIGHT before we leave for St. Louis! This of course means that the
whole week we are there I'm going to be in AGONY wishing I could find
out what happens while anyone else who cares has already read the whole
thing. <pout> Of course, if I was allowed to just read it on my
ooooown before Dad reads it aloud then I wouldn't have suffer,
but nooooooooooo, it has to be a family thing. <sigh>
I shouild get going, MOm and Pook want to run some errands this
afternoon and I have to do some laundry.... seriously, I desperately
need to wash some scrub PANTS!
